The idea of the story board is to showcase that graffiti is art.

The “good” and “bad” team member game played in class showcased how essential trust, communication, and commitment are to the success of a firm.  When one member lacks trust for another it leads him to act in irrational ways. This then causing other to lose trust in this member and hence forth act irrationally as well. Communication among all team members and strict rules can prevent the corruption of a firm. Implementing consequences for those who disobey said promises  will also tighten up relationship not only within firms but among firms.

Viewers	Viewers would be given the opportunity to view works created by artist. They can boost an artist reputation  through views or visit to the artist profile	The viewers can like an artist work, and increase the reputation of the artist. Customers	A customer can seek artist through use of the website. Once comparing various artist he or she can chose which artist to hire.	Customers however can comment on an artist work rather than only liking it.  The customer will also be satisfied knowing they had a variety of options to choose from.	Customers can be showcase the work of the artist to family members and possibly pass out business cards.
Artist	Similarly, an artist can seek job offerings posted on the website and possibly provide the customer with an example of the art he would create.	Artist will be satisfied knowing the will be provided with pay and possibly good feedback	Artist can stay in touch with one another. Work side by side on major projects or simply chat.

Comparing Ideas

While searching for a website or business that was rooted in urban graffitti i had much difficulty finding one. I did however find tons of websites on which graffitti artist showcased some of the art work they have done. In most the artist were vandalizing property. This was contrary to my outlooks for the groups idea. I want to impose urban graffitti as a respected form of art. The website, http://www.graffiticreator.net/, allows users to create graffitti through online tools. However i couldnt find a source of revenue. The store lacked the ability to allow networking amongst graffitti artists and those who seek to pay these artist.

Our website called Graffitti arts focuses and providing clients who need artistic work done in residenttial homes and/or local business with talented artist. Furthermore we will be providing local graffitti artist with potential jobs. Our site will also serve for the sale of art pieces, mainly focusing on urban style graffitti. We also plan to expand the website by making a store with the same name. This store will also sell art pieces and serve as a place where one can learn to create similar arts. My team members include Jaime  (13125328664) and Soobin (17732427359). Jaime appears to have an interest for the art for he wanted to design a possible logo for the website, while Soobin appeared to be very interested in the technological aspects of such a plan.

Idea Generation, Setting Goals, Interview with Students ,Meeting with Business Men

One of my many goals in life is to one day own my own designer clothing store. My audience would be for the most part the youth of America, ages 15- 30. I plan to lure them in with the aspect of simplicity while simultaneously providing them with stylish clothing. I believe my designs will be liked seeing as the will coexist with casual attire.

 

A major aspect of a good pitch is having confidence while at the same time having a background in the subject. Furthermore it is advised that you have several ideas in case certain aspects of your idea fail to please your audience.

 

Interview with Hui Yi: while interviewing her she expressed her passion for paper folding. Although she never claimed it was her skill, i implied that it was seeing as out hobbies are usually something we are good at. She hopes to one day be able to run her own business. 

 

 

Interview with Jessica : according to jessica she enjoyed working for non profit organizations and helping her community. She expressed that one of her most prominent talent/skill would be her social skills. She hopes to one day be the founder of a scholarship in her name.

 

After reading over all of my post i realized that creating ideas can simply start with crazy thoughts. Although you might think at the moment that certain ideas you may have are stupid, you might fail to realize the looking into those unreal or dangerous ideas can lead you to some successful ideas. Whether ideas are good or not, simply thinking and keeping the mind stimulated helps in fixing or realizing certain aspects of your ideas. I also realized that one must not worry about the wealth or power of an idea rather keep it personal in that you'll only focus on improving youre idea not expanding it. The expanding one may hope will come with the popularity in time spent on those great ideas.

 

As i was commuting to school today i was looking out and began to question how all the major corporations that i was passing by were able to obtain the power and wealth they have today. I decided to do research and found that most of the major businesses around us started off small and slowly gained a reputation. It was reputation which gave them power and wealth. However its the initiation of such ideas and the determination to make them work that allows for such reputation to be built. They reputation is in some sense left to chance, people might or might not like what you create but thats why you have plenty more ideas in store. They are bound to like some of them.

 

On my way to school this morning i bumped heads with an old friend who was very artistic throughout highschool. We talked of what we have both done since highschool and she mentioned that she is currently trying to start designing shirts. She explained how she had some materials that might be useful and that she was well equipted with sketches. I didnt think of this much until i was heading back how from school, then I remembered that i too had a similar idea of creating a shirt design not too long ago. I kept in mind that she would be a great candidate to help with some shirt designs i wanted to create. But then as i began to do research i realized that you needed to obtain shirt printing machines, computers for the designing aspects, and other essential materials. It became clear that ideas required connections and funds if they are to become successful.

 

While i was commuting to school this morning realized that the city was filled with vandalism. I began to wonder and question the necessity of such a crime. I happened to know a few friends from the neighborhood who take part in creating art work, in the form of advertisements, on the side of local businesses. I thought to myself that they might too have once been vandals like such that we see on the chicago news. I found a few in the group and decided to ask them why they would take part in the destruction of property. They simply said "We do it to get known. So people know of us". I then thought to it might be a smart idea to create shirts, with images that simulate commonly vandalized places, on which they could write on. Not only will this satisfy their need of being "known" but might also sell seeing as it provides the consumer with the chance to express their style in a form that doesnt deface the city.

 

As I was getting up in the morning, I had to put up with once again the cold cold ceramic floor we have throughout our house. I then remembered that I was given an assignment which asked of me to take note of things. I thought to myself that it would be a cool idea if the floor temperature could be controlled as well. I thought of this because my snakes cage has a patch which is placed under the snakes cage and creates a warm spot. Cant a similar patch simply be placed under our floor to which we can set a desired temperature. I began to research such products and came up with a few that in some sense fit the description of what imagined. However they were mainly a few squared meters in size. Suddenly i began to feel stupid for ignoring the fact that most flooring isnt easy to remove, so fixing a problem that might occur within the product would be a hastle.

 

A personal goal that I have is only to build up a career in the business world and be able to one provide the best for my family. To achieve this goal as of now I plan to first do the best possible in school. This would include both having a good gpa and being involved around the community. A few internships and some abroad studying can help build up a good resume for when I seek a job. However as of now I do not know exactly what it is that I wish to do with my degree but I know that it is a start to my overall plan of being able to be successful in life. Success would bring not only me happiness but those around me. It is rewarding to know my family feels content with my work. They too worked hard and provided the best for me.

 

A school related goal that i would hope to achieve would be to graduate with a rewarding gpa. To do so I have to focus on sumbitting assignment in on time and preparing for exams and quizzes. Whether or not i achieve my goal will depend on the results I obtain from my work. To stay committed to my goal I will only keep in mind that if I dont obtain the best of my education will only be losing out on a great opportunity. Achieving this goal would bring me satisfacting in knowing that I did the best that I could.

 

While searching for idea generating tools I took note that everyone had different methods for coming up with bright new ideas. I found it difficult to distinguish which of the idea generating methods would be best. This remained true until I asked this question: "have you ever thought of any brilliant ideas?". Everyone gave me different answers and so then I thought of the one most important step, in my opinion, for creating new ideas. That would be that your idea should revolve around the demands of society. What good is an idea if it helps with nothing. An idea should provide a solution to a problem in our world or provide a product that people in society might demand. Once coming up with a list of ideas, its only a question of determining which of the ideas serves the bigger group.
